On the 20th and 21st of
August 2014 NANA hosted a Pop Up Art
Fair and Extreme Drawing Workshop at the University Of Newcastle. The event
formed part of the Universities’ annual community art festival Create 2308 that
featured events and performances from local artists and musicians, throughout
the Callahan campus. NANA’S Extreme
Drawing Workshop invited participants to work collaboratively and as individuals
to produce an outdoor 3D drawing, charcoal studies and finally a large-scale
mixed media aerial drawing. The activity was an exploration of boundaries, both spatially and within the medium of drawing. You can view the results in NANA’S
Perkins Street windows NOW.
